Today The Nature Conservancy has scheduled a prescribed burn on their land to the south of hole 16 stretching to hole 6. This burn is part of TNC's environmental habitat management and it will have a very beneficial impact to our surrounding long leaf pine savannah. Many of the native plant species in our region actually depend on fire to trigger certain growth mechanisms during their life cycle. There is potential for smoke to impact our facility but TNC will work to keep this at a minimal. If your golfing experience is negatively impacted today from the burn please speak to the pro shop following your round.
